Playing Coach Opportunity for Season 2026-27

Mordialloc Bowling Club is seeking expressions of interest for the position of Playing Coach for season 2026-27. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and support our club as we enter a new competitive season.

About Mordialloc Bowling Club

The Mordialloc Bowling Club was established in 1912 and is a local friendly community-based club. We have recently laid two new greens, one being a sand dressed synthetic grass and the other a woven carpet. Our small but enthusiastic club has a long and proud history of success and have played in 1st division on a number of occasions.

Competition Structure

In season 2026-27, Mordialloc will be entering sides in Saturday Metro Pennant Division 2, Division 6 and a 12 a-side team. Midweek Metro Pennant Divisions 3 & 4 plus a SDELBA Tuesday Night Pennant side.

Role Responsibilities

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and leadership skills and a passion to help and support our members and build our club. Your responsibilities will include:

To implement and run a coaching program for the entire club
Develop drills and training programs for new and existing bowlers
To hold regular group sessions for new and existing bowlers
Offer one on one training sessions
Play pennant in our Division 2 side with the view of promotion to Division 1
Liaise with the Committee and selectors to promote bowling success across the Club

An appropriate remuneration will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
